Corporate Social Responsibilities:
Purpose Beyond Business

At Amish Crop Sciences & Agrisol India Pvt. Ltd., Corporate Social Responsibility is not an afterthought or a compliance exercise – it is an integral part of how we define success. We believe that responsible growth must translate into tangible, measurable benefits for the communities that surround and support our operations.

Our CSR Vision

We aspire to be recognised as a responsible corporate citizen that actively partners with communities to enable healthier, safer, and more equitable lives. Our CSR vision is to:

Enhance access to essential services such as safe drinking water, healthcare, and basic infrastructure.

Empower individuals through education, skill development, and meaningful livelihood-oriented exposure.

Preserve and enrich the environment through sustained green initiatives and responsible practices.

Key Focus Areas

Our CSR initiatives are concentrated across five strategic focus areas that respond to the priorities of the communities we work with:

  • Safe and Clean Drinking Water
  • Healthcare and Emergency Support
  • Infrastructure and Community Welfare
  • Education and Skill Development
  • Environment and Sustainability

This integrated approach ensures that our efforts contribute holistically to public health, dignity, opportunity, and ecological balance.

Safe Drinking Water: Securing a Fundamental Right

Access to safe and reliable drinking water is one of the most powerful determinants of public health. Recognising this, water security has been placed at the heart of our CSR programme.

We have supported a range of initiatives including community bore wells, RO plants, pipelines, overhead tanks, and tanker-based water supply, with the goal of ensuring that neighbouring habitations have dependable access to potable water. Our flagship community water purification plant, with a capacity of 10 kilolitres per hour, stands as a symbol of this commitment by providing safe drinking water to thousands of residents on a sustained basis.

Beyond this, we have installed drinking water facilities at institutions and public locations such as B. R. Ambedkar Boys’ Hostel, the DSP Office at Dhone, and Obulapuram, and are commissioning an additional 1000 LPH RO plant at Tathimanukottur village. These interventions are designed not only to quench thirst, but also to reduce the burden of water-borne diseases and uplift community health standards.

Healthcare and Emergency Support: Enabling a Healthier Tomorrow

Health is central to human dignity and economic productivity. Our healthcare initiatives aim to bridge critical gaps in medical access, preparedness, and awareness, especially in rural and underserved communities.

We have extended support to government hospitals and rural health centres through the provision of high-end equipment such as phototherapy units and oxygen concentrators, thereby strengthening their capacity to serve patients effectively. In parallel, we conduct health outreach and awareness initiatives, including programmes focused on children’s dental and general health in local government schools, to encourage preventive care and healthy habits from an early age.

Our healthcare commitment also extends to palliative and special-care support, assistance to differently abled students through distribution of communication and assistive materials, and community blood donation drives in collaboration with organisations like the Red Cross, where our employees actively volunteer. To further strengthen emergency response, an ambulance facility has been arranged to serve surrounding villages on a 24×7 basis, in coordination with local authorities and community bodies.

Infrastructure and Community Welfare: Building Foundations for Opportunity

Functional infrastructure is a powerful enabler of growth, connectivity, and quality of life. With this understanding, we have consciously invested in community-centric infrastructure projects in and around Dhone and other neighbouring regions.

Our initiatives include support for public pipeline systems, development of compound wall infrastructure for critical services such as the Fire Office at Dhone, and the construction of a public waiting hall at the DSP Office to provide a dignified space for citizens. We have enhanced connectivity and access by improving road links from the highway to residential settlements such as Jagananna Colony and by laying pipelines to ensure reliable potable water supply to nearby villages.

Simultaneously, we work to strengthen social infrastructure and public safety. Our contributions include installation of CCTV cameras at strategic locations, support for development activities in villages like Karlakuntla and Abbireddypally, and the organisation of safety awareness programmes, competitions, and campaigns for school students to promote responsible behaviour and safety consciousness.

We also recognise the invaluable role played by sanitation workers in maintaining public hygiene. As part of our CSR drive, we have supported municipal sanitation staff by providing essential protective equipment and sanitary materials such as gumboots, gloves, face masks, and other safety gear to improve their working conditions and occupational safety.

Education and Skill Development: Nurturing Future Talent

At Amish, we see education and employability as key drivers of long-term community transformation. Our CSR initiatives in this space are focused on enabling learning, expanding exposure, and building industry-relevant skills.

Through our flagship “Manthan” programme, we offer fresh college graduates a structured 30-day hands-on learning experience inside an agrochemical manufacturing environment. Participants receive guided exposure across critical functions such as Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Analytical Research & Development (AR&D), Engineering, Production, and Human Resources, mentored by experienced professionals. This immersive approach helps bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice.

We have also run broader skill development initiatives that have benefitted both employees and students, with the aim of nurturing technical competence, professional confidence, and long-term career growth. In the reported financial year, numerous employees and students benefitted from our skill-building and student encouragement programmes, reflecting our commitment to fostering a capable and future-ready workforce.

Environment and Sustainability: Growing a Greener Future

Environmental stewardship is deeply embedded in our CSR philosophy. We recognise that a healthy environment is essential for sustainable agriculture, resilient communities, and the well-being of future generations.

To this end, we undertake extensive plantation and greening initiatives both within our facilities and in surrounding areas. Working in collaboration with local communities, educational institutions, and government authorities, we have distributed tens of thousands of saplings free of cost and supported the development of large tracts of land into dedicated green spaces.

These initiatives, combined with the plantation of thousands of trees across our facilities, are aimed at enhancing green cover, mitigating the effects of climate change, improving local microclimates, and nurturing an ethos of environmental responsibility. Each plantation drive is also used as an opportunity to raise awareness about ecological balance, conservation, and the role of individuals and organisations in protecting nature.

Governance, Transparency and Impact

Our CSR philosophy is backed by structured governance and a strong emphasis on transparent implementation. With the growth of our operations and geographical footprint, we have evolved robust processes to ensure that every initiative is planned responsibly, executed diligently, and monitored for results.

We work closely with local stakeholders, government bodies, and community leaders to identify genuine needs, design appropriate interventions, and ensure fair and inclusive coverage. The company places importance on documentation, monitoring, and, where applicable, social audits at the community level to enhance transparency and demonstrate tangible impact.

Growing Together with Our Communities

For Amish Crop Sciences & Agrisol India Pvt. Ltd., CSR is ultimately about partnership – standing alongside communities as they pursue better health, improved infrastructure, stronger livelihoods, and a more sustainable environment. We are humbled by the support and appreciation we have received from the people we serve, and this recognition inspires us to deepen our commitment year after year.

As we continue to grow as an organisation, we remain dedicated to expanding the reach, quality, and depth of our CSR initiatives. Our goal is to ensure that progress is inclusive, that opportunity is shared, and that every step forward for our business is also a step forward for the communities that journey with us.
