Amilent is a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide widely used in agriculture for effective control of mites, leaf miners and other sucking pests. Amilent has Abamectin 1.9% as active ingredient. It belongs to the avermectin group and acts through contact and stomach action. Abamectin works by stimulating chloride channels in the nervous system of insects and mites, causing paralysis, feeding cessation and eventual death.
